Took a few pics a NAHBS and rolled them into one

Alphabet bikes or Post card for Odin

I'd like to try my hand a gravel race.  One of the closer one's is Odin's Revenge.  It's 180 miles of Nebraska dirt in one day.  I'll be thrilled if I can do half that.  Anyhow, entry is on the 14th of February   You mail in a post card with your specs for the race.  The first 100 are chosen for the race.  So while cutting out my postcard sized hunk of watercolor paper to make my postcard, I came up with the idea of making a few more.  Then it came to me.  Alphabet bikes.  Bikes that can be described in two letters.  I had nine postcards so they came out like this.....

TT - Time Trial

RD - Road

CX - Cyclocross

XC - Cross Country

AM - All Mountain

DH - Downhill

OT - Observed Trials

SS - Single Speed

GG - Gravel Grinder

I know there's a ton more but I had nine cards so I stopped there.  So far there turning out well.  Time will tell.

I figured there might be some out there that want a unpainted, uncaffeinated version of my bikes.  So I did a quick scan to get this up on Society6.  Should have the rest done if I can get some time in the next few days to sit down with it.

2013 - Here we go.

I know January is coming to a close. However I'm just a bit behind.  Hopefully I'll pick up speed soon.  The boost coming in the form of a lot of positive reviews on Reddit.com, Facebook and a few others.  I would like to thank everyone for all the kind words and praise.  It's just fun combining two of my favorite things.  There were some asking for prints and such so I opened up a shop on Society6.com.  First one for 2013 -

Should have it done by the weekend.  It's an Ibis Szazbo, done in all coffee and ink.
