Someone posted this photo to VW Buses on Facebook.  I thought it would make a great painting.  So I needed a Christmas exchange gift for someone, so I whipped it out this morning.

Finishing up the last project of the year...

This one's been around for awhile.  Probably since mid summer I've had a partial sketch done.  It got put away when I got some commissions.  After I finished the last three cannondales I pulled this one back out.  I always wonder how to paint a flat color.  I think it came out well.

Got a commission to do three...not one or two but three Cannondales for a customer.

Little side project...

I've been building up a fat bike the last few weeks.  I've been thinking about getting a custom top cap since I worked out it's name.  The Purple People Eater.  Here's a few of the rough sketches I did initially.

After researching the custom top cap I came up with these designs to fit into the constraints of there top cap template.  

Then I rendered a few of them in Photoshop...because...well it's what I do.

Sent the design away and got this little jewel in the mail...
