I got a hit off of one of the paintings I put up on Reddit.  A nice young lady from Australia wanted me to paint her SO's bike.  Here's what she got...

Summer projects...

It's no secret that my art takes a hiatus during the summer.  Well not so much a hiatus but major slow down.  I've had one piece on my desk for some time.  It's still on my desk and moved aside for another project I'm doing.

I like the negative space is creates between the two bikes.  Can't wait to use my new water colors again.

Here's a project that always seems to be hard to finish up.  My Odin's Revenge bike.

Really like the way this one turned out.

I finally completed the Land Rover piece.

And last but not least the piece that's been waiting for completion.  I'm afraid it's going to have to wait for a bit.  As we are moving and that will take up a lot of my spare time.

So there you are.  All caught up.

Firefly Titanum CX for Odin's Revenge.

The bike for Odin's is always a tough one.  It comes at a time when I'd rather be in the garage or on a dirt road somewhere.  So this one took about two months to get done.

Why haven't there been any UPDATES!?!?!?!?

Well this one is pretty easy to answer.  Why haven't there been any updates on this blog?  Well...It's Spring!  I'm in the garage fiddling with a bike or riding one somewhere.  It's been a overly wet spring but I've still found time to ride.  That translates into less time for artwork.  While I was cranking it out this winter I just haven't felt motivated at all.  However let me show you what I have been up to.

I've made a few bracelets and sold quite a few of them.

As I said before I've also been in the garage....

However there is some art being done.  This one's for Odin's Revenge.

There you have it.  My excuses for not being very artistic as of late.

B, B and B

Brooklyn Blue Beauty by Horse Cycles.  I saw this one in Pintrest.  Later I saw the forward facing view.  I'd still do the rear facing view if I had to do it again.  The Cranks and BB were very cluttered and dark...so that part is still sort of a mess.  I really like the handlebars however.

Burn for a single speed

This one had me looking all over the net for a Bianchi Pista Classica.  Lucky for me there aren't a lot of them around and if there are they are pricey.  This one turned out really well I think.  Getting the Celeste (pronounced che-les-te in Italian, Se-lest in English) color right was a bit tricky but I think I came close.  I wasn't totally happy with the lettering on the frame.  It's close to what the original was but not really quite there.
