I decided to try and capture what goes into one of my paintings. I used a GoPro to capture a image every 30 seconds. I wish the lighting was better. My desk is pretty dark. I'm planning on trying this again but maybe try to video the whole thing and speed it up. See what the difference is. Here it is...enjoy.

Reeb Coffee Wheel bike is up for sale! I'm asking $100 with all proceeds going to the town of Lyons Colorado to help with recovering from the flood. I'll also have prints for anyone who wants them. Price will depend on size. So help out the town of Lyons and get a little bit of art in the process.

Salsa Warbird for Odin's Revenge
Summer is here and painting has slowed to a crawl. I managed to get this one done in time. This was my donation to Odin's Revenge. A 150 mile gravel race in Gothenberg Nebraska. The Warbird fit the race ..... well be cause it's a gravel bike. I've also posted up the desatureated version I made for my Facebook page. These were larger then my normal one's. I used the rim of a very large coffee cup. It's almost twice the size I'm use to working on. I think it turned out great. Enjoy.

New digital art.
The sun was reflecting off of my handlebars in a cool way last night so I used my camera to take a few shots. After looking at them and working with them a bit, you could start to see some movement between them. I like how it's turned out.

Raising Odin
Sat down and started in on the Odin's Revenge give away paintings. These will be the larges coffee bikes I've made yet. I used a small bowl and Starbucks espresso for the wheels. First bike to sketch in...Salsa Warbird.

Coffee Bike #17 - Yipsan randonneur
Renold is a friend and frame builder. He emailed me a few weeks before this post and suggested that I try out one of his custom bikes for a race I'm doing this summer. So to show my appreciation just for being thought of in that situation, I made him this. This is larger then most of the coffee bikes I do. I used a coffee mug instead of a Styrofoam cup. It allowed me to get a bit more detail and help with adding color. It's hard to portray a certain color when the tubing is just a thin line.
I really like the way it turned out. The original now resides with him. Enjoy Renold!
